Miele Coffee Bar

Press the power button on the side. Select your beverage on the touchscreen, adjust strength and temperature, then press brew. Your espresso-based drink will be ready in seconds. Purge the group head between drinks for best flavor.

Wolf Range

Push the knob inward and turn to your desired heat level. The burners ignite automatically. For the convection oven, press the temperature control on the left panel, use the arrow buttons to set, then press start. Always ensure the fan is on for even cooking.

Finding Your Tools

All cookware and utensils are stored in the island cabinets below the seating area. Knives are in the block by the range. Cutting boards are in the drawer next to the Sub-Zero. Check the corner cabinet for specialty items and serving pieces.

Island Seating

The island seats four comfortably and is perfect for casual meals, morning coffee, or just hanging out while someone cooks. The waterfall edge on the short side is an elegant spot for displaying a showstopping dish.

Pro Tips

Coffee Like a Barista

The Miele bar has a "Fine" setting on the grind dial—this is your secret weapon for espresso-based drinks. Medium-fine works great for americanos. Pre-warm cups under the hot water spout first. The milk frother on the side makes silky microfoam if you let the steam wand self-purge first.

Island as Your Gathering Spot

This is the heart of the home. It's the best place for morning coffee, homework sessions, or a casual aperitif before dinner. The high-backed stools are made for lingering conversations. The pendant lights above create an intimate ambiance in the evening.

Pantry Essentials

Premium oils, vinegars, and spices are stocked in the tall pantry cabinet to the left of the range. Salt and pepper mills are on the counter. Extra cookware, baking sheets, and mixing bowls are in the drawers below the island. Everything is labeled for easy finding.

If Something's Not Working

Coffee Bar Not Dispensing

First, check that the water reservoir is full—there's a small window on the left side of the unit. If it's full, press the menu button and run the "Rinse" cycle. This clears any blockages. If that doesn't work, the group head may need cleaning—soak a cleaning tablet in the basket and run the rinse cycle again.

Range Won't Ignite

Make sure the knob is fully pushed in before turning. Sometimes moisture on the ignitor prevents sparking—wipe it dry with a paper towel. If that doesn't work, push in extra firmly while turning. If still no spark, text Alec immediately. Never use a match or lighter as a workaround.

Sub-Zero Temperature Adjustment

The temperature controls are behind the top trim panel. Use the arrow buttons to adjust the fridge section to 37°F and the freezer to 0°F. Changes take a few hours to take effect. If the fridge feels too cold or warm, adjust in 1°F increments and wait 24 hours before adjusting again.
