Alexa Scenes

Pre-programmed lighting scenes designed for every mood and moment. Just say the words and let the lights do the rest.

  • Good Morning
    Alexa, good morning
Warm kitchen lights gradually brighten for a gentle start to your day
  • Movie Night
    Alexa, movie night
Theater dims automatically, dining room goes soft, living room fades to black
  • Rooftop
    Alexa, rooftop
Outdoor ambiance lighting creates a perfect evening atmosphere for entertaining
  • Trust the preset scenes—they're calibrated for the home's design
  • Scenes take 2–3 seconds to fully activate across all rooms
  • You can customize individual lights afterward if needed

Common Issues

  • Scene not activating: make sure to say the exact phrase clearly
  • Lights responding slowly: check WiFi connection throughout the home
  • Scene activating incorrectly: say "Alexa, discover devices" to refresh

Manual Control

Wall switches work just like home. All smart switches are fully manual—use them exactly as you would traditional switches.

Press switch up = lights on | Press switch down = lights off

Dimmer switches in main areas let you control brightness by holding the switch up or down.

  • Dimmers require a 1–2 second hold to adjust brightness smoothly
  • Wall switches take 1–2 seconds to respond—this is normal
  • Mixing manual and voice control works seamlessly
  • Toggle switches are traditional—no learning curve needed

Common Issues

  • Light not turning on: ensure the wall switch is in the ON position
  • Switch responding slowly: this is normal for smart switches on WiFi
  • Dimmer acting jumpy: hold the switch steadily, moving in small increments

Bedroom Lighting

Each bedroom has individual smart lighting control. Turn off lights by room or use manual dimmers at the bedside.

Alexa, turn off bedroom lights

For finer control, say the room name: "Alexa, dim master bedroom to 30%"

  • Use dimmer switches at bedside for relaxing before sleep
  • Voice commands work from bed—no need to get up
  • Gradual dimming helps signal your body it's time to rest
  • Manual switches still work when WiFi is down

Common Issues

  • Alexa can't find bedroom: specify the room name ("master bedroom", "guest bedroom")
  • Dimmer unresponsive: toggle the wall switch off/on to reset
  • Lights turn on when you don't want them: check that no motion sensors are active
